Kay Robertson of 'Duck Dynasty' Reportedly in Poor Health Following Phil Robertson's Death
Kay "Miss Kay" Robertson, longtime matriarch of the "Duck Dynasty" family, is reportedly in poor health and receiving full-time care just over a week after the passing of her husband, Phil Robertson.
Willie Robertson recently shared that his mother, Miss Kay, has been struggling with both health problems and grief since Phil Robertson died on May 25, 2025, after battling Alzheimer's.
He explained that her condition is being made worse by depression, as she mourns the loss of her husband of six decades."We're trying to help her out as much as we can," he shared.
"Some of it is, she is just depressed. She lost her partner of 60 years," he added. Kay appeared in early episodes of "Duck Dynasty: The Revival," but her health has kept her from continuing in the series.
Apart from mourning the loss of her husband, a fall in April and a subsequent infection that required hospitalization has added to Miss Kay's deteriorating health.
Phil Robertson, who passed away at 79, did not film any new scenes for "Duck Dynasty: The Revival," but was shown in flashbacks. The show now centers on Willie, his wife Korie, and other members of the extended family as they carry on the Robertson legacy.
