Mark Consuelos Jokes About What He'd Do If He and Kelly Ripa Split

Mark Consuelos and Kelly Ripa didn't hold back the laughs during a candid moment on their talk show, even when the conversation turned to breakups.

On a recent episode of "Live with Kelly and Mark," Mark Consuelos playfully imagined life after a potential split from wife Kelly Ripa, joking that he'd likely end up dating someone much younger, specifically, a college student.

The couple, who have been married for nearly 30 years, were discussing romance when Ripa confidently declared, "I know if you and I broke up you would absolutely fall apart, completely."

Consuelos agreed with a laugh. "That's true," he said. "But," the actor quipped, "I do feel like someone would be there on the other end just to pick me up and make sure I'm okay."

He then added with a grin, "I'd have to get used to their college schedule and all that stuff," prompting Ripa to burst into laughter and respond, "Oh, dear God, I hope I live to see your second wife!"
