Katie Holmes turned heads at the Tod's Cocktail Party in New York City but for all the wrong reasons. Fans quickly took to social media to react to the actress' noticeably different appearance.

Holmes wore a brown knit dress that featured a leather skirt, paired with classic pumps and a white Tod's handbag. Her hair, dyed and worn long, was styled in intentionally messy locks with a wet finish. She completed the look with dark smokey eyeshadow and a pinkish red lip color.

Despite the designer ensemble, many fans were more fixated on her appearance. Comments quickly flooded social media platforms, where users shared their blunt opinions.
