'The Voice' Season 8 Judges Revealed – but Viewers Say They 'Won't Watch' Because This Judge Is Returning

Some "The Voice" fans aren't pleased with Snoop Dogg's return as one of the show's coaches, with some saying they'll be skipping the season solely for that reason.

NBC just revealed that "The Voice" is coming back for Season 28 in the fall of 2025. The upcoming season features a mix of coaches from previous seasons, and their reveal had people talking.

The show announced that the roster of coaches includes Michael Bublé, Reba McEntire, Niall Horan, and Snoop Dogg. While some fans were delighted, others didn't exactly share the same sentiments about Snoop Dogg's return.

Snoop Dogg, who made his debut as a coach on Season 26, did not return for Season 27. However, he never closed any doors when he left and spoke about the possibility of returning.

"I didn't know what I was signing on to, but I do know it feels like I could come back and do it again," he once told Carson Daly.

True enough, the rapper is back for Season 28—and not everyone is pleased. After the roster was revealed, "The Voice" fans couldn't help but express their disappointment.

"I like Snoop but the show centered on him too much, it was like the Snoop Dog show," one netizen commented. "Not Snoop. Once was enough," another added.

"Any but Snoop- won’t watch with him…." a third person decided. "I guess I will skip this season not trying to watch with snoop on, I used to like him… not so much now!! [sic]" someone agreed.

While viewers seem disappointed with his return, Snoop has always been vocal about "The Voice" being a "great experience" for him, so his return was something he didn't hesitate to do.
