Prince Harry Skips His Son's Birthday for the Second Time as His Wife Shares Rare Photo of Their Child on His Big Day

The Duke and Duchess of Sussex's eldest child recently celebrated a birthday milestone, and just like two years ago, he spent it without his father. See the photo his mother shared online.

Prince Archie marked his 6th birthday on May 6, 2025. However, his father Prince Harry was reportedly out of town on his big day.

Notably, the Duke was only away for part of the day as he traveled to Las Vegas for an engagement in connection with his late mother, Princess Diana. He is reportedly launching a new initiative in collaboration with The Diana Award, which is named after the Princess of Wales.

This marked the second time the father two missed Prince Archie's birthday milestone. Prince Harry couldn't be there for his son's 4th birthday celebration in May 2023 as he flew down to England to attend the coronation of his father, King Charles III.

Meanwhile, his wife Meghan Markle marked the occasion on Instagram by sharing a rare photo of the couple's son with his back facing away from the camera as he gazed at the sunset.

"Our son. Our sun. Happy 6th birthday to Archie! Thank you for all of the love, prayers, and warm wishes for our sweet boy. He's six! Where did the time go?" Markle captioned the post.
