Jennifer Aniston Goes Instagram Official with Boyfriend Jim Curtis
After months of speculation, "The Morning Show" star officially confirmed her relationship with the former Wall Street trader. The couple was first romantically linked this past July.
Jennifer Aniston is letting the world know that there's someone special in her life. The Emmy-winning actress took to Instagram on Sunday, November 2, to wish her beau, Jim Curtis, a happy birthday — officially confirming their relationship.
Aniston posted a black-and-white photo of herself hugging the beaming hypnotherapist from behind as he accepted the embrace. "Happy birthday my love," the 56-year-old wrote, tagging her partner in the post. "Cherished ❤️."
It's not the first time Curtis appeared on the actress's page. In a summer recap posted during the first week of September, the "Friends" alum soft-launched her beau by including a close-up photo of him — taken from behind — gazing ahead at the sunset on a beach.
The photo sparked an online frenzy, leading to Aniston — who is known for fiercely protecting her privacy — to limit access to the post's comments section.
She and Curtis were first romantically linked in mid-July when they were spotted vacationing together with Jason Bateman and his wife, Amanda Anka, in Mallorca. The pair were photographed getting cozy with each other in images circulating online.
In one shot, Curtis appeared to be rubbing Aniston's shoulders, while Aniston was seen grabbing his hand in another. The couple has since been spotted out together on multiple occasions, including the season 4 premiere of Aniston's drama series, "The Morning Show."
Curtis did not walk the red carpet alongside Aniston, but he was seen at the September event supporting her. Multiple insiders confirmed their relationship at the time, with one saying, "[They are] casually dating and having fun."
"They've been seeing each other for a few months now," a second source said. "They were introduced by a friend and started out as friends. Jen had read his book and was familiar with his work. She's really into self-help and wellness. They are dating, but it's still casual."
Prior to her romance with Curtis, Aniston was previously married to her longtime partner, Justin Theroux. The former couple divorced in 2018. "He's very different from anyone she's dated before," a third source said of Curtis.
Of Aniston, the source added, "She's been happy on her own, but she's also open to sharing her life with someone. As long as it feels right. Jen's in a very good place right now — grounded, fulfilled and very happy."
About a month later, another insider shared that Curtis was fitting in well with Aniston's circle of friends. "Jim's great. Her close friends love him. He's amazing to be around," the source said. "He has this really calm and secure energy. Jen loves it."
The insider added that Curtis has helped Aniston, who is "so used to going 100 miles an hour while balancing projects," slow down and turn inward. The wellness expert, who previously dated Bethenny Frankel, has also been supportive, as the actress can be quite hard on herself.
