Kelly Osbourne Breaks Down in Tears on Stage While Paying Tribute to Late Dad Ozzy
Kelly Osbourne took the stage in her father's hometown, but what began as a tribute quickly turned into something far more emotional.
Kelly Osbourne fought back tears as she honored her late father, Ozzy Osbourne, on stage in Birmingham. The 40-year-old TV personality accepted a Lifetime Achievement Award on his behalf at The Birmingham Awards on Friday. The ceremony was held at The Eastside Rooms.

Ozzy, 76, passed away in July. The legendary rocker was being recognized in his hometown for his lasting influence and legacy. During her speech, Kelly shared that her father valued this award deeply — more than even his Hollywood accolades.
"He was proud to have a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame," she said, "but what he was most proud of was his star on the Walk of Stars on Broad Street." Kelly revealed that in his final weeks, Ozzy returned to Birmingham to say a private goodbye. The Black Sabbath lead vocalist had performed at Villa Park with the band, a moment that held personal significance.

"This recognition tonight tops them all," Kelly told the crowd, her voice shaking. "Birmingham was always his heart and soul." She described his deep connection to the city, noting that while Ozzy lived much of his life in America, his roots remained firmly planted in the Midlands.
Kelly said her father had a deep love for Birmingham and its people, who, in her words, loved him in return. She explained that this mutual connection made it important for him to return to the city one final time in July to say goodbye.
