Nicole Kidman Is ‘Happy to Be Back at Work’ amid Divorce

The "Nine Perfect Strangers" star made her first public appearance last weekend, shortly after news of her divorce broke. She stepped out again earlier this week alongside her daughters.

Nicole Kidman is moving on amid her divorce from her husband of 19 years, country star Keith Urban. News of the couple's separation first broke on Monday, September 29, with Kidman formally filing for divorce the next day, citing irreconcilable differences.

Several developments have unfolded since; however, the actress is said to be maintaining a positive outlook. "She's had a good attitude about everything and life goes on. She was in Texas this weekend and is happy to be back at work," a source close to the family told PEOPLE.

Kidman attended the amfAR Dallas Gala in Texas on Saturday, October 4, where she presented her friend Taylor Sheridan with the Award of Inspiration. The honor recognized Sheridan's artistic and humanitarian achievements and his profound impact on contemporary culture.

"[Nicole's] known Taylor for a couple of years. She considers him a dear friend. She enjoyed seeing him again," the source added. On Monday, October 6, Kidman attended the Chanel Womenswear Spring/Summer 2026 show as part of Paris Fashion Week.

She was joined by her daughters, Sunday Rose, 17, and Faith Margaret, 14 — whom she shares with her estranged husband — at the event, which took place at the Grand Palais.
