Model Claims Keith Urban Cheated on Nicole Kidman Before They Wed

The woman came forward with her claims just seven months after the couple — who recently ended their relationship and marriage — tied the knot. At the time, the country star was in rehab following a relapse.

Old revelations are resurfacing about Nicole Kidman and Keith Urban's marriage amid the couple's unprecedented separation — and now divorce. One report, in particular, dates back 19 years and came from then-23-year-old part-time model Amanda Wyatt.

Urban and Kidman got married on June 25, 2006, after just over a year of dating. Wyatt claimed that prior to the pair tying the knot, Urban was allegedly unfaithful to Kidman throughout their courtship and engagement.

"I feel sorry for Nicole. Keith cheated on her repeatedly with me, right up to just before they got married," Wyatt told the Daily Mail in an interview published in December 2006. "He's done it once and he will probably do it again."

"I know him as well as anyone and while he can be charming and loving, he is also someone who is constantly fighting his demons," she continued. "I hope their marriage works — but leopards don't change their spots."

"Keith is a guy who has everything, but he is never truly happy," she added. At the time, Urban had been admitted to rehab after relapsing into alcohol addiction and was staying at the Betty Ford Clinic in Palm Springs. The singer has been sober since December 2011.

Wyatt said she had met Urban at a bar in Nashville in 2004, and what initially began as a one-night stand turned into something more. That was until he married Kidman. The couple went on to spend 19 years, welcoming two daughters during their marriage.

Around June of this year, however, they separated and began living apart. News of their split first broke on Monday, September 29. Kidman then filed for divorce on Tuesday, September 30, citing irreconcilable differences.
