Keith Urban's Awkward Reaction to Ryan Seacrest Praising Nicole Kidman Resurfaces

Just after Nicole Kidman filed for divorce, a past interview with Keith Urban has resurfaced — and his reaction during it is drawing fresh attention.

Just days after Nicole Kidman and Keith Urban's divorce was confirmed, an interview clip of the country singer has resurfaced in which he was asked questions about Kidman.

The moment took place in July, during Urban's appearance on "On Air with Ryan Seacrest." The host praised Kidman's busy career and joked that the actress seemed to be "in everything."

Urban laughed before replying that Kidman was "almost as busy" as Seacrest, "but not quite." When Seacrest pressed about how they managed their schedules, Urban appeared uneasy. After a pause, he answered simply, "It's a job. Yeah. Life is in session."

The response is now being revisited in light of the couple's split, which was confirmed on Sept. 29 after nearly 20 years of marriage. Kidman filed for divorce the following day. Over the summer, Kidman was filming "Practical Magic 2," while Urban was on the road for his "High and Alive" World Tour, which began in late May.
