Dwayne Johnson Makes Rare Red Carpet Appearance with Daughter Simone, 24
Wrestling royalty and Hollywood star power collided in London, as fans got a rare glimpse of the family behind the persona of Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson, particularly his daughter Simone.
Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson turned heads at the London premiere of his MMA biopic "The Smashing Machine," walking the red carpet with his 24-year-old daughter Simone Johnson, who wrestles under the name Ava Raine.

The pair was picture-perfect. Johnson looked sharp in a dark blue suit and crisp white button-down, while Simone wowed in a strapless black gown decorated with embroidered flowers, finished off with a matching choker. The father-daughter duo posed together, radiating warmth and pride.

Simone is part of a wrestling dynasty – her grandfather is Rocky "Soul Man" Johnson, and her great-grandfather is Peter Maivia — but Dwayne emphasizes that her journey is uniquely her own.

During a 2020 appearance on "The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon," he said, "'Follow in my footsteps' sounds cliché. She actually wants to create and blaze her own path, which is just so important."
He also called it an "honor" to share a passion for wrestling with his daughter, celebrating her dedication to the sport.

Johnson's younger daughters, Jasmine, 9, and Tiana, 6, with wife Lauren Hashian, are already showing interest in wrestling as well. The little ones were thrilled when Johnson returned to WrestleMania last year, hinting that the next generation may continue the family legacy.
