The "Batman Begins" star and "Fringe" alum, who portrayed an onscreen couple in the cult classic drama series, reunited with their co-stars for an event benefitting F Cancer.
Katie Holmes was part of the much-awaited "Dawson's Creek" reunion on Monday, September 22. The actress was joined by several of her former cast members, including Michelle Williams, Mary-Margaret Humes, Busy Philipps, and Joshua Jackson.

The event, which took place at the Richard Rodgers Theatre in New York City, featured a live reading of the "Dawson's Creek" 1998 pilot episode. It also served as a benefit for the nonprofit F Cancer and James Van Der Beek, who played the titular Dawson in the series.

The 43-year-old actor, who couldn't be present for the event, is currently battling stage three colorectal cancer. Toward the end of the reunion, as the stars gathered at the front of the stage to bow, Holmes and Jackson shared a touching moment, captured on video.

As the audience applauded, with the "Dawson's Creek" theme song playing in the background, the pair — who briefly dated in 1998 — smiled knowingly at each other before Holmes laid her head on Jackson's shoulder as he wrapped his arm around her.
Holmes later shared another memorable moment, showing her, Jackson, and Williams looking out to the audience with their hands clasped together. "I will never find the words for what these three beautiful humans mean to me," the actress wrote.
"For our shared journey. For our everlasting bond. James, Josh, Michelle… from April 1997—- I love you. James, you got this. We got you. To everyone who supported us from the beginning and who continue to support James and his beautiful family, we thank you. Thank you for last night. ❤️," she added.
