
Fans Mock Simon Cowell’s Clapping in ‘Spirit Tunnel’ on Jennifer Hudson Show
The famed "America's Got Talent" judge graced the iconic spirit tunnel ahead of his appearance on the beloved talk show; however, fans couldn't help but poke fun at his awkward clapping.
Simon Cowell appeared on "The Jennifer Hudson Show" in an episode aired on Monday, September 22. Ahead of his interview with the titular host, Jennifer Hudson, the media personality graced the popular spirit tunnel, where he was serenaded by the crew.

Dressed in his signature style — a dark gray T-shirt paired with blue jeans and black sneakers — Cowell appeared to be in good spirits as the staff sang sang a tune from "The Greatest Showman."
The 65-year-old clapped along, and as he reached the end of the tunnel, he joked, "Can I do that again?" The crew laughed as he finally entered the studio. The video went viral, and fans quickly began making fun of Cowell's clapping.
"Is this his first time clapping? Why is he clapping like that?😂," one viewer joked. "I think we just seen Simon Cowell nervous for the first time in history," another remarked.
"What a unique clap" a third added. "His hands broken ?" a netizen wondered. "This changes completely how I see Simon. He's not so scary anymore. Lol," another shared.
In another clip from his appearance, Hudson asked Cowell if he enjoyed the spirit tunnel. "I love that. [...] I absolutely loved it," he replied, asking the singer how she came up with the idea.
"It's like the best way of coming on the show, seriously, I've ever done in my life," he said. "Do you mind if I steal it for AGT?" Hudson didn't mind, but only if she and her crew were invited to do it themselves. "Done!" Cowell responded enthusiastically.
He then added, "I think it's brilliant. I mean, seriously brilliant. I wanted to do it twice. [...] I might do it on the way back."
