Jon Bon Jovi is overjoyed after his son, Jake Bongiovi, and daughter-in-law, Millie Bobby Brown, welcomed a baby girl into their family.
In a recent interview with Bunnie XO, posted on TikTok Sunday, the music legend opened up about his experience as a first-time grandfather. "It's crazy, but great. Wonderful," he said.
The "Livin' on a Prayer" singer, 63, shared that meeting the new arrival immediately cemented her place in the family. "They adopted a girl, we met the baby obviously and immediately that becomes your grandchild, you know what I mean? Your baby," Bon Jovi explained.
He also revealed that he's already fully embracing his new role, checking in constantly for updates and photos. "It's beautiful. I want to see pictures, like, every other day," he gushed. "I'm that pain in the butt guy already and, yeah, it's cool."
Bon Jovi reflected on why he supported the couple's decision to marry at a young age. "We blessed it because we get it, you know? They're sorta mature beyond their years. She comes from a family where her parents are still together and they married very young," he added.
He recalled the moment he realized their relationship was serious. "Her and Jake fell in love and we just thought, 'Okay, we'll support this,'" he said. "And it's working out."
The couple tied the knot in May 2024 in an intimate ceremony and later celebrated with a grander event in Italy five months afterward.
