Prince William Allegedly Still Furious with Prince Harry Despite Latter's Meeting with King Charles III
Prince William's strained relationship with Prince Harry shows little sign of easing, even as their father King Charles III has extended an olive branch to his younger son. Royal insiders suggest the rift between the brothers has hardened to the point of open hostility.
Prince Harry's recent meeting with King Charles III has sparked speculation about a potential thaw in their relationship, but reports indicate that tensions between Harry and Prince William remain unresolved. According to palace sources cited by the Daily Mail, the Prince of Wales continues to harbor deep resentment toward his younger brother.

One insider told the paper, "William is back at the point where if you mention Prince Harry in his presence he would throw you out of the room. He's doubling down."
Sources say William has grown increasingly frustrated with Harry's efforts to reconnect with the royal family, which he reportedly views as a deliberate attempt to re-establish influence. Those familiar with the situation describe the Prince of Wales as determined to maintain distance from his brother.

At one stage, William had reportedly reached a point of near-indifference toward Harry, which insiders say was healthier for his mental wellbeing. That calm, however, appears to have eroded, and even minor mentions of Harry can now provoke anger.
Another source described William's emotional journey following the brothers' falling out. He is said to have experienced stages of grief, including losing his appetite while at Balmoral and breaking down in tears ahead of Harry and Meghan's interview with Oprah Winfrey.

Over time, he compartmentalized those emotions, moving forward without expecting to be in close proximity to his brother again.
Harry's meeting with King Charles took place during his most recent visit to the UK. The two met privately at Clarence House for less than an hour, a meeting seen by observers as a limited step toward reconciliation.

Despite that encounter, the rift between the brothers remains pronounced. While King Charles welcomed Harry, sources indicate that reconciliation with William is still a distant prospect.
