Mary-Kate and Ashley Olsen Spotted at Rare New York Fashion Week Appearance
Mary-Kate and Ashley Olsen broke their three-year streak of avoiding the spotlight with a joint appearance during New York Fashion Week. The twins’ return drew attention not just for its rarity, but for the effortless style that has long defined their public image.
Mary-Kate and Ashley Olsen stepped back into the public eye together for the first time in three years, attending W Magazine’s cocktail party at Eleven Madison Park during New York Fashion Week on September 11, 2025. The iconic twins, known for keeping their lives out of the spotlight, drew attention as they arrived in their signature understated yet polished style.

Mary-Kate wore an oversized white button-down shirt paired with black trousers and a patterned scarf draped across her shoulders. Her look was finished with sleek, wavy hair that fell past her shoulders. Ashley opted for a slightly different take on casual elegance, choosing dark denim, a long black coat, and a gray scarf, with her hair styled in soft waves to mirror her sister's.

The evening, which featured a DJ set by Mark Ronson, attracted a crowd of celebrities. Among those spotted mingling at the event were Olivia Wilde, Tessa Thompson, Tory Burch, Dwyane Wade, and Gabrielle Union.
The appearance marked Mary-Kate and Ashley’s first joint public outing since 2022, when they attended a Paris Fashion Week presentation for their luxury label, The Row. Before that, their last red-carpet moment together was at the 2019 CFDA Fashion Awards in New York City.

Although they rarely make public appearances, the Olsens have remained focused on their fashion empire. In late 2024, they expanded The Row’s global presence by opening a boutique in Paris, adding to their existing locations in New York, East Hampton, Los Angeles, and London.
