Selena Gomez on What She Can’t Wait to Do with Her Future Kids
The "Only Murders in the Building" actress has previously shared that she is unable to bear children due to medical issues but still hopes to build a family with her fiancé on their own terms.
Selena Gomez knows the kind of media she wants her children to consume one day. The actress appeared on Amy Poehler's "Good Hang" podcast in an episode released Tuesday, September 9, and shared her love for the film, "Inside Out 2."

"I just think it's incredible," Gomez told Poehler, who voices Joy in the animated sequel and the first installment of the franchise. The "Same Old Love" singer explained that she watched the movie with her younger sister, Gracie Teefey.
"I watched it with my sister, and I completely sobbed," she recalled. "Because it is so factual. I almost feel like it should have been a requirement in school to watch that as a homework assignment because I'm so fascinated with the human mind."
Gomez said it had a profound impact on her sister, who was also moved to tears. Although it was geared toward younger audiences, the 33-year-old found herself relating to the main character's experiences. "I'm going to make my children watch it," she declared.
Poehler expressed her excitement at the prospect, saying, "I know, I know they don't exist yet, but I can't wait." Gomez previously revealed that she is unable to carry children while speaking at the Women in Film dinner in September 2024.
Despite this, however, she and her fiancé Benny Blanco are optimistic about building a family one day. "I don't know what will happen, obviously, but I love children," Gomez said on the "Jay Shetty" podcast in March.
"I love making [children] laugh; they're just so sweet. So absolutely, when that day comes, I'm so excited for it," she added.
