The pop star, currently on her "Mayhem Ball" tour, announced via Instagram Stories. "Hi everyone, I am really so so sorry but I need to postpone tonight’s show in Miami," the 39-year-old wrote.
According to Gaga, her voice was "extremely strained" during rehearsal on Tuesday and again during her vocal warmup on Wednesday. Following consultations with both her doctor and vocal coach, she was advised not to perform due to the risk it could pose to her vocal health.
She explained that while the decision was difficult, it was made out of caution. Gaga noted that, based on her team'' experience, the risks of proceeding with the performance were significant — especially for a live-singing show of this scale.
She added that the long-term implications for her voice were a greater concern than the disappointment caused by the last-minute cancellation.
The concert was scheduled to be held at the Kaseya Center. The venue confirmed the cancellation on social media, stating that Gaga had experienced "significant vocal strain" during her warm-up and had been advised by her ENT specialist not to perform.
