Chloe Malle Named New Head of Editorial Content at Vogue
The 39-year-old journalist, who is "Murphy Brown" actress Candice Bergen's daughter, has worked for the publication since 2011 and steadily risen through the ranks.
Chloe Malle has been named Vogue US's new Head of Editorial Content. The announcement was published on the outlet's website on Tuesday, September 2, revealing that Malle is assuming her position "effective immediately."

The seasoned editorial journalist is joining a list of 10 existing Heads of Editorial Content around the globe, all of whom report to Vogue's editor-in-chief Anna Wintour.
"Fashion and media are both evolving at breakneck speed, and I am so thrilled — and awed — to be part of that," Malle said of her new role. "I also feel incredibly fortunate to still have Anna just down the hall as my mentor."

"Chloe has long been one of Vogue's secret weapons when it comes to tracking fashion," Wintour said of Malle in a statement. "But she is not so buried in the industry that she misses the world."
"Like the best designers, she understands fashion's big picture, its role shaping not just what's on the runway but the changing fabric of modern life. Although she is no stranger to the glamour of red carpets, her talent has been for original thinking and hard work," she added.
In addition to becoming the Vogue US new Head of Editorial Content, Malle has been editor of Vogue.com and co-host of the publication's podcast "The Run Through." She began working for Vogue in 2011 as a Social Editor, later serving as a Contributing Editor to the magazine.

She has edited several books for the outlet and her work has appeared in many of Vogue's sibling magazines, including The New York Times, The Wall Street Journal, Architectural Digest, WWD, and more.
Malle is notably the daughter of actress Candice Bergen, who famously portrayed Carrie Bradshaw's Vogue editor in "Sex and the City." Her father is the late Louis Malle, an Oscar-winning filmmaker who passed away in the mid-1990s.
