Katie Holmes Spotted at US Open Tennis Championships
The "Dawson's Creek" alum was seen keeping a low profile at the sporting event. Her outing comes over one month after it was announced that she was reuniting with a former "Dawson's Creek" co-star in a new trilogy.
Katie Holmes was spotted attending Day Six of the US Open on Friday, August 29, at Arthur Ashe Stadium in New York City. The longtime actress did not walk the blue carpet ahead of the games, but she was seen arriving at the stadium.

She kept it chic yet casual, wearing a long white checkered slip dress layered with a black leather jacket draped over her shoulders. She accessorized with oversized sunglasses, a pale yellow handbag, and black shoes, letting her loose, wavy hair complete the look.
In a clip shared online, Holmes can be seen walking to the venue with her jacket seemingly falling off of her right shoulder. She was later photographed inside a private suite and appeared to be enjoying herself.

Her appearance comes after news broke she will write, star in, and direct the "Happy Hours" trilogy alongside her former "Dawson's Creek" co-star Joshua Jackson. Holmes and Jackson famously played onscreen lovers Joey Potter and Pacey Witter in the beloved '90s series.

In "Happy Hours," they return as a married couple navigating their relationship amid the challenges of careers, family responsibilities, and the pursuit of love despite life's inevitable obstacles. Filming for the first film began in New York this past summer.
