Meghan Trainor Seemingly Claps Back at Critics Saying She Looks Unrecognizable
The "All About That Bass" singer has faced ongoing scrutiny after losing a significant amount of weight. Netizens found her particularly unrecognizable recently when she participated in a viral TikTok trend.
Meghan Trainor went viral last Thursday, August 21, when she took part in the Nicki Minaj TikTok Challenge. The singer posted a video on social media set to Nicki Minaj's 2013 hit "High School," recreating the rapper's iconic poolside pose from the music video.

The post circulated widely online, drawing a flurry of compliments from fans. However, it also sparked an overwhelming surge of reactions from critics claiming she was unrecognizable. Some likened her to Paris Hilton while others thought she resembled "2 Broke Girls" alum Beth Behrs.
Shortly after, Trainor posted a video lip-syncing to a mashup of Megan Thee Stallion's 2022 hit "Her" and "Give It To Me Baby" by Rick James. "I don't care if these [expletive] don't like me // 'Cause, like, I'm pretty as [expletive]," Trainor mouthed.

"Just the other day, I heard a [expletive] say… Matter of fact, what could a [expletive] say? With a face like this and a [expletive] this paid," she continued. The clip garnered similar reactions to the previous video, with fans commenting that they no longer found Trainor relatable.
The songstress was considered a body-positivity icon during the earlier years of her career. After she debuted her significantly smaller figure, she was accused of using ozempic to assist in her weight loss. She later admitted that she used a similar drug, Mounjaro, along with dietary and lifestyle changes.
