Jennifer Lopez Has Been ‘Having the Time of Her Life’ After Filing for Divorce from Ben Affleck

The "All I Have" singer has remained booked and busy since filing to separate from "The Accountant" star after more than two years of marriage. Their divorce was finalized earlier this year.

Committing herself to her craft has proven fruitful for global megastar Jennifer Lopez following the end of her marriage to Ben Affleck. The singer recently wrapped her "Up All Night: Live in 2025" tour this summer and has begun promoting her new film, "Kiss of the Spider Woman."

The tour proved to be exactly what she needed after she and Affleck finalized their divorce in February of this year. Lopez had filed for divorce in August 2024, two years after tying the knot with the actor in July 2022.

"She's been having the time of her life this summer," a source told PEOPLE on Wednesday, August 20. "She loved connecting with fans all over the world. The tour was amazing. It's been a great focus for her. She's been doing what she really enjoys."

The 56-year-old also just released the official trailer for "Kiss of the Spider Woman," a new musical adaptation of the eponymous 1976 novel by Manuel Puig. It marks the second adaptation, following the 1985 film that earned lead star William Hurt an Oscar.

Affleck and Matt Damon serve as executive producers on the film. "This is the movie she filmed last year in New York when she and Ben were going through a difficult time," the source continued.

"She's come a long way since. She's very happy and just grateful for her life," they added. "Kiss of the Spider Woman" hits theaters on October 10.
