Kevin Costner Speaks Out amid ‘Horizon’ Sexual Harrassment Allegations
The "Yellowstone" alum's attorneys previously addressed the accusations, which made headlines earlier this year. The actor is now directly denying the alleged victim's claims in a motion to strike.
Kevin Costner has spoken out regarding allegations of sexual assault on the set of his 2024 film, "Horizon: An American Saga - Chapter 2." A stuntwoman named Devyn LaBella, who worked on the western drama, filed a sexual harassment lawsuit against the actor in May 2025.

LaBella alleged that in May 2023, she was the victim of a "violent, unscripted rape scene" directed by Costner. She had been hired as a stunt double for the film's lead actress, Ella Hunt, under a SAG agreement
In her complaint, LaBella also named the production companies behind the movie. She is suing for an undisclosed amount and is requesting a jury trial. Costner's attorneys have vehemently denied her allegations.
His lawyer, Marty Singer, called LaBella a "serial accuser," adding that her accusations "have absolutely no merit." In his new motion to strike, filed in the California Superior Court and obtained by PEOPLE, the actor echoed Singer's remarks.

"Devyn's claims against me are absolutely false," Costner wrote in the documents. "It is deeply disappointing to me that a woman who worked on our production would claim that I or any other member of my production team would make one of our own feel uncomfortable, let alone suffer the 'nightmare' she has invented."
"My belief is that Devyn's claims were designed, through the use of false statements and sensationalistic language, to damage my reputation," he continued. "These allegations are so patently false I can only assume that the purpose was to use this sensationalistic language to embarrass and damage me and the 'Horizon' movies."
According to PEOPLE, Costner attached photos of LaBella taken on set that showed her "laughing and smiling during the blocking of the scene" in question. He explained that the scene itself was a "buildup and foretelling of two violent rape scenes that occur offscreen."
