The 57-year-old actress shared the close-up on Instagram, and her radiant appearance quickly drew admiration from followers who noted how little she seemed to have aged since her Brat Pack days.
Her post comes just as Universal Pictures confirmed that John Hughes' coming-of-age classic "The Breakfast Club" will return to theaters this fall. The studio is set to re-release the 1985 film on September 7, 2025, and again on September 10, 2025, giving longtime fans and a new generation the chance to see it on the big screen.
Set in a suburban Chicago high school, the movie follows five teens from very different social groups who spend a Saturday in detention together. Alongside Ringwald, the film stars Emilio Estevez, Judd Nelson, Ally Sheedy, and Anthony Michael Hall.
When it debuted on February 15, 1985, "The Breakfast Club" became both a box office success and a cultural touchstone, striking a chord with audiences through its exploration of teenage identity and the desire to be understood. The film not only cemented Hughes' legacy as a defining voice of the era but also propelled its young cast into stardom, ushering in the Brat Pack generation.
