Taylor Swift's Latest 'Easter Eggs' Hint at a Super Bowl Performance This Year
Taylor Swift's fans are once again in detective mode, convinced that her recent comments may be carefully placed clues hinting at a long-awaited Super Bowl halftime performance.
Taylor Swift is certainly cooking up something — and fans suspect it may be more than just sourdough bread.
Following the announcement of her 12th studio album, "The Life of a Showgirl," the pop superstar appeared on Travis and Jason Kelce's "New Heights" podcast this week, where she opened up about her latest hobby: baking sourdough.
Swifties quickly began to wonder if her remarks were actually a playful breadcrumb trail leading to the NFL's biggest stage. During the conversation, Swift, 35, shared that sourdough has "taken over my life in a huge way," adding that she thinks about bread "60% of the time now."
"I'm just, like, always baking bread and texting my friends and being like, 'Can I send you some bread? I need some feedback. Do you like this one better than you liked the other one? Like, I did the rise a little differently,'" Swift explained.
Fans soon connected the dots to Super Bowl LX, which will be held at Levi's Stadium in Santa Clara, home of the San Francisco 49ers. The team's mascot happens to be Sourdough Sam, a gold miner whose name mirrors Swift's new passion.
Swifties also noted that her "60%" comment could be a sly nod to Super Bowl LX itself — the 60th NFL championship event.
At the start of the "New Heights" episode, which premiered on Wednesday, August 13, 2025, Swift also thanked Jason Kelce, 37, for "screaming for, like, 47 seconds." Fans have speculated that the reference might point to her 47th Eras Tour stop — a performance at Levi’s Stadium on July 29, 2023.
With her history of planting "easter eggs" and her close ties to the Kelce family, speculation around a possible Super Bowl appearance is growing louder.
