Tyne Daly Reveals Why She Wasn't Invited to Her Brother Tim Daly's Wedding to Téa Leoni
Tim Daly and Téa Leoni opted for an exceptionally private wedding ceremony in New York, keeping the guest list so small that even Daly's sister, actress Tyne Daly, was not among the attendees.
Tim Daly, 69, recently exchanged vows with his longtime partner and former "Madam Secretary" co-star Téa Leoni, 59, in a small family ceremony. The wedding, held on July 12, 2025 at the couple's apartment in New York, was limited to only their closest relatives.

Speaking at the Television Academy's inaugural Televerse Festival in Los Angeles on August 16, 2025, Tyne Daly shared that she was not part of the intimate gathering.
"There was a small wedding. Very exclusive, very, very private," the 79-year-old actress told PEOPLE. She explained that the guest list was narrowed to just immediate family members. "They only had people that they gave birth to or people who gave birth to them," she said.

Despite not being present, Tyne expressed her excitement for her brother and new sister-in-law. "However, I'm going to see the newlyweds quite soon," she added, noting that she is already preparing "a Christmas present" for Téa.
Téa's representative confirmed the nuptials shortly after they took place. Following the wedding, a guest shared a photo of Téa holding a small bouquet of white flowers while posing with her daughter, West Duchovny, 26, from her previous marriage to actor David Duchovny.

Tim and Téa first met in 2014 while filming their CBS series "Madam Secretary," where they portrayed married couple Elizabeth and Henry McCord. The political drama ran for six seasons, from September 2014 until December 2019, and their on-screen partnership eventually blossomed into a real-life romance.
