Taylor Swift capped a week of major career announcements with a celebratory night out in New York City, joining friends for dinner after unveiling her latest album and drawing record-breaking podcast viewership.

Taylor Swift marked her "The Life of a Showgirl" album reveal and her headline-making "New Heights" podcast debut with a night out in Manhattan.

The "Shake It Off" singer was spotted Wednesday evening at Casa Cipriani with close friend Ashley Avignone and "Overcompensating" star Owen Thiele. An eyewitness described Swift's look as a "black, romantic bodice dress," paired with a messy low bun and her signature red lip.

According to the onlooker, the 35-year-old Grammy winner appeared "friendly" and "chatty with staff" throughout the evening, giving off the vibe of "such a regular person."

The group dined just a few tables away from New York City Mayor Eric Adams, who was also enjoying the upscale venue that night.

As Swift caught up with friends, her first-ever podcast appearance was streaming on YouTube, drawing more than 1.3 million live viewers and climbing to nearly 10 million views by the following morning.
