Brooke Hogan Spotted for the First Time in Public Since Her Father’s Death

The former "Hogan Knows Best" alum was seen taking a walk during a recent afternoon and became visibly emotional. The sighting comes after she skipped her father's funeral.

Brooke Hogan is feeling the impact of her father's absence more than ever. The 37-year-old media personality was spotted on a walk with her husband, Steven Oleksy, and their seven-month-old twins on Tuesday, August 12, in Orlando.

In photos obtained by TMZ, Brooke appeared visibly emotional as she walked alongside her husband, who pushed their children in a stroller. Sources who spoke to the publication said she became emotional when she saw the sunset.

Per the report, she was telling Steven about how much her father, Hulk Hogan, would have loved it. Hulk died suddenly on the morning of July 24, 2025. He was 71. Shortly after, it was confirmed that his cause of death was myocardial infarction, commonly known as a heart attack.

In the wake of his passing, Brooke opened up about the state of their relationship in his final years. The pair had been estranged for two years when he passed, and it was revealed that she had written herself out of his will just before she distanced herself.

The singer also decided that she would skip Hulk's funeral and explained why in a poignant post on Tuesday, August 6. "My father hated the morbidity of funerals. He didn't want one," she began in her caption.

Brooke explained that although she knew people grieved in many ways, she needed to honor Hulk "in the best and most genuine way" she knew how. The mom of two, along with her husband, took their daughter and son to the beach.

"The only thing missing today was him in is pop up lawn chair watching the waves... and the sunset 💔," she wrote, alongside several photos from the family trip.

"Every grain of sand and every wave reminded me of being your beach baby, and brought us closer to you," Brooke continued. "I pray you are at peace and know how dearly I love you. Rest in heaven, Daddy❤️"
