Swift revealed the news on Instagram, debuting the cover art along with the caption, "And, baby, that's show business for you. New album The Life of a Showgirl. Out October 3."
The striking image shows the "Wildest Dreams" singer wearing a bedazzled one-piece with cutouts as she reclines in a body of water, resting one hand on her head. Her look includes her signature red lipstick paired with bold smoky eye makeup.
The album is produced by Swift, Max Martin, and Shellback. Additional promotional photos show Swift fully embracing the "showgirl" theme, adorned with rhinestones, feathers, and ornate headpieces.
