Amid a low-key summer in New York, Suri Cruise made a rare public appearance to support her mom, actress Katie Holmes, on the set of an upcoming film —offering a glimpse into their close bond away from the spotlight.

Suri Cruise spent part of her Thursday afternoon visiting her mother, Katie Holmes, on the set of Holmes’s latest film, "Happy Hour," currently in production in New York City.

The actress was filming scenes alongside former "Dawson's Creek" co-star Joshua Jackson, with whom she shares a longstanding friendship dating back to the beloved teen drama.

Suri, 19, appeared to be in high spirits during the visit, joining her mother on an outdoor location near a city park. The teen, who now goes by the name "Suri Noelle," kept her look casual and summer-ready, sporting a white tank top tucked into olive green cargo pants.

She paired the outfit with red shoes and carried a brown purse slung over her shoulder. Her sun-kissed complexion suggested she had recently spent time outdoors.

Holmes, meanwhile, wore a multi-colored dress layered over denim jeans, her hair styled in a relaxed, messy bun as she held a script in hand between takes.
The mother-daughter sighting comes just weeks before Suri is set to resume her studies at Carnegie Mellon University in Pennsylvania.
