Amid reports of a public procession allowing fans to bid farewell to the rocker, an insider has revealed how the Osbourne family plans to say their goodbyes.
According to the Daily Mail, the city council disclosed that Ozzy Osbourne's hearse will travel through Birmingham alongside his family to Broad Street on July 30, 2025.
The procession will reportedly give fans a chance to bid farewell to the Black Sabbath frontman. Ahead of the ceremony, Birmingham Lord Mayor Zafar Iqbal shared that the singer and songwriter's home city will give him the send-off he deserves, adding:
"Ozzy was more than a music legend — he was a son of Birmingham."
Iqbal mentioned that following Osbourne's "Back to the Beginning" concert, it is significant for the city to bid farewell to him in a dignified manner with the support of his loved ones. "We know how much this moment will mean to his fans," he noted.
Meanwhile, an insider has also revealed how the Osbourne family plans to say goodbye to their loved one. "They're planning a small, private funeral that will be a celebration of his life. Ozzy would never want a mope-fest," said the source.
