HR Executive Kristin Cabot Resigns from Astronomer After Coldplay Concert Scandal
Shortly after reports surfaced that her job was at risk, the AI company employee became the latest to resign, following the CEO. Their lives were upended after attending a Coldplay concert.
A spokesperson revealed on July 24, 2025, that Astronomer's Chief People Officer, Kristin Cabot, has reportedly resigned from her position at the tech company.
"Kristin Cabot is no longer with Astronomer. She has resigned," said the spokesperson. Cabot's exit follows after the company's now-former CEO, Andy Bryon, also handed in his letter of resignation.
"Andy Byron has tendered his resignation, and the Board of Directors has accepted. The Board will begin a search for our next Chief Executive as Cofounder and Chief Product Officer Pete DeJoy continues to serve as interim CEO," Astronomer shared in a statement to Cosmopolitan.
The individuals' lives were upended after they attended a Coldplay concert at Gillette Stadium on July 16, 2025, in Foxboro, Massachusetts. The band's lead singer, Chris Martin, was introducing the venue's "kiss cam" when the two appeared in an embrace.
However, things turned sour once they realized they were in the spotlight as Byron ducked out of view while Cabot covered her face. The video went viral, and reports later revealed that the pair were having an affair.
