WWE Wrestler Hulk Hogan Dies at Age 71
The legendary star's passing comes shortly after his wife denied allegations that he had been in a coma and near death. He had been battling health issues.
Reports recently revealed that WWE star Hulk Hogan has sadly passed away at 71. First responders were dispatched to his home in the early hours of the morning on July 24, 2025, in Clearwater, Florida, following a call in what operators described as "cardiac arrest."
In a video capturing the moment outside his property, several medics, who responded to the call at 9:51 a.m., attempt to save the Georgia native's life as he is wheeled out of the house.
They appear to be conducting chest compressions before getting him into an ambulance, as he gets transported to the hospital, where he was pronounced dead.
Later that afternoon, the authorities held a press conference. Clearwater Police Major Nate Burnside divulged that Hogan died at 11:17 a.m. He added that there are "no signs of foul play or suspicious activity."
Just days before his passing, Hogan's wife, Sky Daily, denied rumors that he was in a coma and was near death. She was responding to a fan question regarding the professional wrestler's health on her Instagram Story on July 18.
"No, he's definitely not in a coma!" "His heart is strong, and there was never any lack of oxygen or brain damage. None of those rumors are true," she wrote at the time. Daily also revealed that the public figure had been battling health issues lately.
In addition to his now-widowed wife, whom he married in September 2023, Hogan leaves behind two kids, Brooke and Nick Hogan, and two grandchildren.
