Just hours after sharing the devastating news about his health, the Australian-born TV star made a surprise appearance on the long-running soap opera.
"General Hospital" actor Tristan Rogers' representatives recently revealed in a statement that he has been diagnosed with cancer.
"While he remains hopeful and is working closely with his medical team on a treatment plan, this is a challenging time for Tristan and his family," said the rep in a statement.
"As they face both the emotional and physical burdens that come with this diagnosis, the family kindly asks for privacy and understanding," the message continued.
Rogers and his loved ones expressed their gratitude to their friends and relatives who have extended their love and support amid these challenging times.
The TV star didn't forget about his fans as he also extended his appreciation for their unwavering support through the years. His rep mentioned that any future updates about the star's health will be shared if necessary.
Merely hours after Rogers shared his cancer diagnosis, he reportedly made a surprise appearance on the long-running daytime soap opera. He appeared in the closing scene of the recent episode.
The scene shows Jason (Steve Burton), who takes Sasha (Sofia Mattsson) to visit her father, and she tries to start afresh overseas. Upon arrival, she introduces Rogers, who plays Robert Scorpio on the show, to his latest grandchild, Daisy Gilmore. It was the veteran actor's first appearance on the drama since November 2024.
