
Simone Biles Takes Home Two Awards at the 2025 ESPYS
The Olympic gold medalist received well earned recognition at ESPN's 2025 Excellence in Sports Performance Yearly Awards. She was accompanied by her husband, Chicago Bears safety Jonathan Owens.
Simone Biles attended the 2025 Excellence in Sports Performance Yearly (ESPYs) Awards on Wednesday, July 16. The prestigious ceremony took place at the Dolby Theater in Hollywood, where Biles joined numerous A-listers to celebrate athletic excellence.

She dazzled in a floor-length, sleeveless gown covered in shimmering deep purple and blue sequins. The dress featured a flattering square neckline and a figure-hugging silhouette that showed off her toned frame.

She completed the look with her hair styled soft waves, and minimal yet elegant jewelry. Beside her, her husband wore a stylish white blazer over a black draped shirt that showed off his chest tattoo.

He finished his look with black trousers, shiny black loafers, and a red flower pin for a pop of color. He also kept his hair neatly styled in a braided topknot.

Biles was named the Best Athlete in Women's Sports at the ceremony. She also took home the award for Best Championship Performance. In her acceptance speech for the latter award, she remarked that she didn't expect to win, especially in a male-dominated category.

Still, she expressed her gratitude, extending it to her team of supporters. "Having a strong support system that understands your dreams who are willing to show up for you, not just when you're winning, but when you're struggling, too, is really important," she told the audience.
"My sincere gratitude, appreciation and love to all of you who have stood with me on this magical journey, all the highs, lows, twists and turns along the way," she said.
