Taylor Swift's Father Recuperating After Heart Surgery
The singer-songwriter remained by her father’s side as he underwent the medical procedure. Her mother has also faced health challenges over the years.
Taylor Swift's father, Scott Swift, reportedly underwent quintuple bypass surgery more than a month ago and is now said to be recovering, according to the music star's spokesperson.
Scott initially went in for a check-up, and doctors discovered something else, which resulted in going under the knife. According to the rep, the operation was not because he suffered a heart attack. Now that it's complete, he's reportedly doing much better.
Thankfully, the family man's famous daughter, including his wife Andrea Scott, and son Austin Scott, were all there to offer moral support.
Andrea has also had her fair share of health issues other than those of her husband. Taylor revealed in 2015 that she had been diagnosed with cancer but remained mum about the details of her condition.
By 2019, the life-threatening condition returned, and the next year, Taylor divulged that her mother had also been diagnosed with a brain tumor. Since then, she has remained private about the details surrounding Andrea's health update, as it is unclear whether she is in remission.
