Madonna's trip to New York City, has fans talking about her latest fashion choices, marked by loose, Gen Z-inspired silhouettes.

The 65-year-old music legend was recently photographed wearing a blue silk ensemble consisting of baggy pants and a boxy, loose-fitting shirt. She completed the look with an oversized Gucci denim hat that partially obscured her face.

The outfit drew mixed reactions from fans and critics alike. While some applauded her confidence and individuality, others questioned whether her style was age-appropriate.
"Love how she’s normalising aging. Stunning diva!!! [sic]" one fan commented. "She's almost 70 and she's lived like a thousand more lives than any of us ever will … she looks damn good, [sic]" another admirer added.

However, others were less impressed. "WTH is she wearing? You can age but still dress age appropriate stylish 🤦🏻♀️ [sic]," one critic posted. Another questioned, "Is Madonna shrinking?"

"Wow. What happened to style?" someone wrote. Another user remarked, "This old lady looks like she finally understood that being provocative at her age is inappropriate."

Still, some came to her defense. "You know, guys… we all age. It's called being human," a fan wrote in response to the criticism.

This wasn't Madonna's only relaxed look during her New York stay. At JFK Airport, she was seen in a full denim outfit, including a limited-edition Balenciaga x Britney Spears graphic tee, released in June — an apparent nod to Y2K-era Britney Spears.
