The actor tragically passed away after a private battle with a previously undisclosed form of cancer. A new report has revealed more details about the cause of his death.
Julian McMahon, the beloved star of "Charmed," "Nip/Tuck," and Marvel's 2000s "Fantastic Four" franchise, died on July 2, 2025, in Clearwater, Florida. The Australian native was 56.

His wife, Kelly McMahon, confirmed his death in a statement last Friday. She revealed that the actor had been quietly battling cancer before succumbing to the disease.
Kelly did not specify the form of cancer, but PEOPLE recently obtained his Cremation Approval Summary Report from the Pinellas County Medical Examiner's Office in Florida.
The document stated that Julian died from lung metastasis as a result of head and neck metastatic cancer. The cause of death was ruled as natural, and Julian's remains have since been cremated.

In her statement, Kelly remembered her husband fondly. "Julian loved life. He loved his family. He loved his friends. He loved his work, and he loved his fans. His deepest wish was to bring joy into as many lives as possible," she said.
"We ask for support during this time to allow our family to grieve in privacy. And we wish for all of those to whom Julian brought joy, to continue to find joy in life. We are grateful for the memories," she concluded.
