A heartfelt birthday tribute from Nicola Peltz and Brooklyn Beckham to her father has sparked backlash from Beckham family fans, reigniting rumors of a rift with David and Victoria Beckham.

Brooklyn Beckham, 26, shared a warm Instagram post honoring his father-in-law, Nelson Peltz, on his 83rd birthday. The post featured a cheerful family photo from a lavish party held at the Peltz family's estate in Bedford, New York, and was accompanied by a simple red heart emoji.

In her own post, his wife Nicola Peltz Beckham included a series of images from the celebration and a deeply affectionate caption for her billionaire father.

"Happy birthday dad! I am so lucky to be your daughter, you're the most loving and supportive father I could ever dream of," she wrote. "I love you more than I could ever begin to express — you're the wind beneath my wings. I loved celebrating you yesterday! Thank you for always being there for us — our constant love and support."

While the tributes were well received by Nicola's followers, fans of Brooklyn's family were quick to point out the contrast to his recent silence toward his own parents. "For someone who values family so much she should understand that he also has a family who must be devastated at what's happening 😢" wrote one fan.

One netizen targetted Brooklyn, saying, "Sigh....while you ignore your own Dad, sympathies with David, children always disappoint [sic]"

"Why does this post seem more like its rubbing it in than celebrating your dad," a third person commented.

"@brooklynpeltzbeckham I feel sad for you… you have sad eyes. As she said family is everything go get the sparkle back in your eyes and make up with your family ❤️" another netizen suggested.

Last month, David Beckham celebrated his 50th birthday, but Brooklyn did not attend any of the festivities or acknowledge the occasion publicly. He was also absent from Victoria Beckham's 51st birthday in April and failed to share any online tribute, an unusual move in a family known for public expressions of affection.

The Beckhams marked both birthdays with parties, a fishing trip, a family meal at the upscale Notting Hill restaurant Core, and even a celebratory trip to France. Brooklyn and Nicola, who were reportedly in London at the time, did not participate in any of the events.

Despite everything, Victoria made sure to include Brooklyn in her Father's Day tribute to David, which others felt was her way of protecting her eldest son amidst all the backlash he's been receiving for the apparent rift he has with the rest of his family.
