Anna Camp Addresses 18-Year Age Gap Between Her and Jade Whipkey

The "Pitch Perfect" actress and the on-set stylist made their red carpet debut as a couple after soft launching their relationship on social media; however, their age gap has been met with criticism.

Anna Camp, 42, attended the Los Angeles premiere of "Bride Hard"—in which she stars alongside Rebel Wilson—at the DGA Theater Complex last Wednesday, accompanied by her beau, Jade Whipkey, 24.

The couple dressed to the nines for the occasion and posed for photos on the red carpet ahead of the screening. Camp wore a sleeveless, floor-length mint green gown with a shimmering floral texture. She completed the look with drop earrings, a ring, and sleek, side-parted hair.

Beside her, Whipkey donned a light gray oversized suit with a white T-shirt underneath, accessorized with rings and a necklace. To finish the relaxed ensemble, she opted for white Nike sneakers.

Their appearance follows earlier hints at their romance on Instagram. Last month, Whipkey shared a photo of Camp on her Stories from a date night with a short, poetic message. "Her smile is a poem, her eyes are roses, her laugh is music for dancing," she wrote.

Now that it's official, however, the internet is abuzz about their age gap, with most netizens expressing their disapproval. Camp addressed the backlash when she left a comment under a Pink News post about their debut.

"Thought I'd jump on here since I follow @pinknews and just say I've dated men exactly my age and Jade is FAR more mature than any of them," Camp said.

"We have more in common than anyone else I've ever dated and can literally talk about anything and everything ♥️ Everyone is entitled to their opinion, and I'm wishing everyone well :) Especially this Pride month 🌈," she wrote.
