Hannah Ann Sluss and Jake Funk Are Expecting Their First Baby

"The Bachelor" alum confirmed she and the NFL player are going to be first-time parents over the weekend—and they couldn't be happier. The couple opened up about how they found out, and everything that has followed so far.

Hannah Ann Sluss and her husband, Jake Funk, announced their pregnancy in an interview published this past Sunday, June 22. The lovebirds, who married in June of last year, are expecting their first baby this November.

They shared how they made the joyous discovery. "We found out we were expecting during a trip to Dubai," Sluss told PEOPLE. "It was such an unexpected and joyful surprise! A moment we'll always treasure."

The reality TV star also revealed that she will be uploading her husband's reaction video soon. "It was so funny!" she said. She and Funk waited a little while before revealing the news to their loved ones.

"We waited until I was around 12 weeks, once I started feeling a bit better. We shared the news at a family party, and it was the best surprise! Everyone was so excited and incredibly supportive," Sluss recalled.

Since then, the couple has been doing all they can to ensure they're prepared for their baby's arrival. Shortly after the interview was published, they shared a joint Instagram post with a message addressed to their unborn child.

"Each day growing you is a blessing 🤍 God's plan is more perfect than we ever imagined. We know God is in this story, and we can't wait to meet you 👼," the couple wrote.
