The picture released on the Prince and Princess of Wales' Instagram page followed the Trooping the Colour parade held on June 14. The event celebrated King Charles III's official birthday.

While the photo left many admiring the royal family, some critics were quick to notice one detail: Prince William’s beard. Reactions began pouring online with comments like, "William looks dirty with his beard...copying Harry for sure." Another echoed, "I agree...the beard doesn't suit William he looks better clean shaven."
However, some came to Prince William's defense with one writing, "The next king does not need to copy anyone."
