Sir Rod Stewart Announces Health Issue, Cancels and Reschedules Upcoming Shows
Sir Rod Stewart is hitting pause on his North American farewell tour as a health setback forces the legendary performer to adjust his plans this June.
Sir Rod Stewart has been forced to postpone multiple performances due to a bout of the flu, canceling six upcoming shows in June as he continues to recover.
The 80-year-old music legend, who had embarked on his "One Last Time" tour since 2024, announced the cancellations via Instagram on June 7, 2025, citing health concerns as the reason behind the decision.
"I have to cancel and reschedule my next six concerts in June as I continue to recover from the flu," Stewart wrote. "So sorry my friends. I'm devastated and sincerely apologize for any inconvenience to my fans. I'll be back on stage and will see you soon."
The affected performances include four dates scheduled from June 7 to 10 at Caesars Palace in Las Vegas, part of his current residency in the city. A show at Lake Tahoe on June 14 and two California concerts on June 12 and 15 were also impacted. The California shows have been rescheduled for late September.
In 2024, Stewart announced the North American leg of his farewell tour, which followed sold-out runs across Europe and Asia. The U.S. leg includes 20 stops and is scheduled to conclude on August 15, 2025.
At 80, Stewart's made it clear that health must come first. The singer has not indicated any changes to the remaining dates beyond June.
