Mia Farrow Brings Son Ronan as Her Date to the Tony Awards

Mia Farrow made a stylish and sentimental appearance at the 78th Annual Tony Awards, arriving at Radio City Music Hall with her son, Ronan Farrow, as her date for the evening.

Mia Farrow, 80, was in high spirits as she celebrated her first-ever Tony nomination. The actress, nominated for Best Performance by a Leading Actress in a Play for her role in "The Roommate," walked the red carpet in a cream-colored three-piece pantsuit, paired with platform boots and a gold purse.

By her side was Ronan Farrow, 37, her son from her 11-year relationship with filmmaker Woody Allen. He opted for an all-black silk suit and buckled dress shoes.

The Pulitzer Prize-winning journalist shared a video on Instagram before the ceremony, proudly showcasing his mother. "I'm here at the Tony Awards with my mom, Mia Farrow, who is nominated. Very proud of her!" he said, as he panned the camera to show her seated beside him.

Farrow’s role in "The Roommate" as Sharon, a lonely Iowa homeowner whose life changes when she takes on a mysterious new housemate, marked a triumphant return to the stage. Although the award ultimately went to Sarah Snook, Farrow's nomination was celebrated as a career milestone.

The 78th Annual Tony Awards took place on June 8, 2025, honoring achievements in Broadway productions during the past year.
