Fans Praise Taylor Swift and Selena Gomez's Friendship After Recent Outing: 'These Ladies Are a Powerhouse'
The celebrity duo's latest outing comes a day after the "Blank Space" hitmaker bought back her masters and the former child actress congratulated her.
Taylor Swift and Selena Gomez had a girls' night out at the Monkey Bar on May 31, 2025, in Midtown Manhattan. A video shows the pair leaving the establishment and getting into an awaiting black SUV.
Swift wore an all-black Gucci outfit featuring a tank top and a miniskirt for the occasion. Meanwhile, Gomez opted for an all-brown Ulla Johnson suit with a Khaite halter top.
Fans were happy to see the two famous women out and about together. "Finally my 2 favorites," said one person. Another added, "An iconic friendship."
Someone else echoed, "These ladies are a powerhouse! A true friendship." "Queensss😍," gushed one fan. While another expressed, "I'm so happy for them [sic] true friendship…"
Swift and Gomez's outing came a day after the "Shake It Off" singer revealed in a letter published on her website that she had purchased the master recordings of her first six albums.
"All of the music I've ever made… now belongs… to me. All my music videos. And all the concert films. The album art and photography. The unreleased songs. The memories. The magic. The madness. Every single era. My entire life's work," Swift penned.
Her longtime friend Gomez celebrated the achievement on her Instagram Story, writing, "YES YOU DID THAT TAY!!! SO proud!" According to sources, the pop star reportedly bought the masters from private equity firm Shamrock Capital for an estimated $360 million.
