After a whirlwind of international commitments and professional obligations, George and Amal Clooney enjoyed a stylish and relaxed evening out in New York City, joined by a famous friend.

George and Amal Clooney stepped out for a well-deserved date night on Friday evening, May 30, 2025, in Midtown Manhattan. The outing followed a busy stretch for the couple, with Amal recently traveling to the Cannes Film Festival and Osaka, Japan, for engagements, while George remained focused on his Broadway adaptation of "Good Night, and Good Luck."

The couple was joined by longtime friend and U2 frontman Bono for dinner at the iconic Polo Bar. The trio appeared to be in high spirits as they laughed and walked together through the city streets.

Amal turned heads in a cherry-print strapless mesh dress by Stella McCartney, paired with a black and pearlescent clutch and bronze pumps. George opted for a more casual yet polished look, wearing a navy suit over a black polo shirt, black patent shoes, and a gray baseball cap.

Bono stayed true to his signature style, dressed in an all-black suit and his trademark red-tinted circular sunglasses.

The Clooneys and Bono, along with Bono's wife, Alison Hewson, have shared a long-standing friendship. The couple attended George and Amal's Venice wedding in 2014 and have celebrated numerous milestones together, including holidays and birthdays.
