Tom Cruise Gives Awkward Response to Father's Day Question Amid Estrangement from Daughter Suri
Tom Cruise appeared uncomfortable when asked about Father's Day during a recent interview, drawing renewed attention to his strained relationship with daughter Suri.
Tom Cruise is currently promoting his upcoming film, "Mission: Impossible – The Final Reckoning," but a recent interview took an uncomfortable turn when the topic shifted from cinema to fatherhood.

During an exclusive interview with E! News, Cruise was asked about what the perfect Father's Day would look like for him. After a brief pause, he responded, "Just having fun, man. Making movies, big adventures, and having a great time."
The response, notably vague and focused on his work, seemed to hint on Cruise's estranged relationship with his children—particularly Suri, 19, whom he shares with ex-wife Katie Holmes.
Cruise is also father to Isabella, 32, and Connor, 30, whom he adopted during his marriage to Nicole Kidman. He did not mention any of his children in the interview and offered no elaboration on his role as a father.

The last known public sighting of Cruise with his daughter Suri was in 2012, during a visit to Disney World when Suri was six years old. Since then, she has lived primarily with Holmes in New York City and is pursuing a college degree in Pennsylvania.

Notably, Suri has also dropped the "Cruise" surname and now goes by Suri Noelle, using her mother's middle name. Neither Cruise nor Holmes has publicly commented on the status of their relationship in recent years.
