David Hasselhoff Spotted in a Wheelchair at the Airport — Health Update
The "Knight Rider" star sparked concern after appearing frail during a recent public outing. His representative has since provided an update on his health.
Actor David Hasselhoff has reportedly suffered a health crisis and was spotted using a wheelchair on two separate occasions this week.
The 72-year-old Maryland native was pictured wearing dark trousers paired with a matching t-shirt, a baseball cap, and a striped blue and white button-down shirt.
After the photographs made the rounds, the Hollywood veteran star's representative revealed in an exclusive interview on May 7, 2025:
"He was seen in a wheelchair because he's having a knee replacement surgery next week."
Images showed David being assisted in a wheelchair by airport attendants on May 5, 2025, both in Cancun, Mexico and upon his return to Los Angeles. The "Baywatch" alum appeared feeble.
This incident comes just two months after his former wife, Pamela Bach-Hasselhoff died by suicide at 61. The Oklahoma-born actress passed away on March 5, 2025, per the Los Angeles County Medical Examiner. She was discovered unresponsive by paramedics.
Pamela and the television personality, nicknamed "The Hoff," were married from 1986 to 2006. They welcomed two daughters together, Hayley and Taylor Hasselhoff.
