The matches have been taking place in Central Park, New York City, where Clooney's production team first faced off against the Actors Equity labor union.

In a new post from a recent game on May 1, Clooney can be seen dressed for the occasion in an athletic outfit. The TV star accessorized with a baseball cap, dark sunglasses, and a wristwatch.

It’s said that the Broadway Show League was founded in 1955, after cast and crew members started having informal picnics and softball games before returning to the theater for their evening performances.

Clooney is currently starring in a theatre adaptation of his 2005 film, "Good Night, and Good Luck," where he plays Edward R. Murrow. The show is centered on a heated on-air interview between Murrow and Senator Joseph McCarthy.

"As McCarthyism casts a shadow over America, Murrow and his news team choose to confront the growing tide of paranoia and propaganda, even if it means turning the federal government and a worried nation against them," the show description reads.

Preview performances began on March 12, before the production officially opened on April 3 at the Winter Garden Theatre. The show will run through until June 8th.
