Rupert Grint Welcomes His Second Child with Longtime Partner

The "Harry Potter" alum quietly welcomed his youngest child with his partner, Georgia Groome. He recently announced her birth in a sweet Instagram post.

Rupert Grint is a dad again! The actor shared the good news on his socials, giving fans a glimpse of his newborn daughter.

"'Secret Child Slightly Revealed' Introducing Goldie G. Grint. ⭐️ A 10/10 baby (so far). Shout out to @alex.digesu for always delivering," he captioned the post.

Alongside the announcement was a photo of the newborn wearing a white romper vest, with the name "Goldie" embroidered on it. The little one, whose face was slightly cropped, also wore a gray woven jersey.

Fans quickly flooded the comment section with congratulatory messages and references to Grint's "Harry Potter" character, Ron Weasley.

"Red hair and a hand-me-down robe? You must be a Weasley," one person wrote, directly quoting a line from the first of the films. "ANOTHER WEASLEY!" a commenter exclaimed.

"Congratulations! Another member of the Weasley household 🧡" another fan said. Swooning over the name, another person wrote, "Goldie I can't 🥹 congratulations to you both 🤍."

Grint and Groome's obstetrician, Alex Digesu, also responded to Grint's shoutout in the comments. "Dear Rupert and Giorgia. Delivering Goldie and Wednesday has been a privilege for me. You are such a wonderful couple and a beautiful family, [sic]" Digesu wrote.

Wednesday is Grint and Groome's first daughter. News of Wednesday's then-expected arrival first broke in April 2020. Her father announced her birth about a month later on Instagram.
